We are WET PAINT WALLS, a Lewisham based creative duo, designing murals with a community focus. We come from a background of Illustration, Fine Art and Scenic Painting.
We met studying together at Lewisham School of Muralism in 2020, where we learned the art of producing community-engaged public artworks.
We are drawn to muralism because the practice sits outside of the gallery context. Public murals have the potential to reach a wider demographic and have an impact on local communities.
We want to bring vibrancy and creativity to the streets of our city, to inspire people and explore the social themes that connect us all.

Who Are We?
We are Ellen & Daisy,
Ellen is an artist, specialising as a fine art painter, scenic painter and muralist. Their personal work explores themes of the domestic and everyday, searching for motifs that act as liminal spaces between realities.
They graduated from the Central Saint Martins Fine Art (BA) in 2014.
Daisy is an artist born and bred in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Their personal work examines ideas surrounding relationships, the internet, queer culture and the psyche.
They graduated from Illustration (BA) from Norwich University of the Arts in 2016.
We both live and work (together) in London.
